Who we are

Maplecrest Pools is a Boucherville-based pool contractor operating as PISCINES FONTAINE INC.. We manage residential pool construction from the first site visit through decking and equipment start-up, and we keep returning each spring and fall to open and close the pools we build and the pools other owners already have.

Our crews are small by design. Rather than running several builds at once, we schedule one project at a time through the construction phase so the same people who poured the shell are the ones standing on site when the deck forms come off.

Common questions

How long does a typical pool build take from excavation to first swim?

Most inground builds run six to ten weeks once excavation starts, depending on soil conditions, decking material and permit turnaround with the municipality.

Do you work on pools you did not originally build?

Yes. Our opening, closing and maintenance visits cover pools built by other contractors as long as the equipment is accessible and in serviceable condition.

What permits does a new pool need in Boucherville?

A municipal pool permit and, depending on the property, an electrical and a building inspection. We help assemble the application package during the planning stage.

Can you give me a fixed price over the phone?

Not for construction work. Ground conditions and access vary enough from yard to yard that an on-site visit is needed before we confirm a figure in writing.

Who this fits

Our two service lines — construction project management and seasonal care — cover most residential situations in and around Boucherville, from a first-time pool owner to a household that already has one and just wants the opening and closing handled without the guesswork.

5

How a new build goes

  1. 1. First contact and site visit

We walk the yard, talk through shape, depth and budget, and note anything that could affect excavation access.

  2. 2. Assessment and written plan

Soil, drainage and permit requirements are checked before a project schedule and price range go to you in writing.

  3. 3. Construction and check-ins

Excavation, plumbing, electrical rough-in and decking proceed in sequence, with a scheduled check-in at each stage.

  4. 4. Start-up and follow-up

We start the equipment, balance the water and return for a follow-up visit once the pool has been running for a few days.
